i just got home from a catering gig in westchester and i'm exhausted... our call time was 8:30am... oy... this last week has seemed to be non-stop... i spent a good part of it finishing the album art for ari gold's new cd... also, yesterday marked the "exactly one month left in new york" point... i'm starting to get worried... not one single thing has been packed into a box... hell, no boxes have even been bought... it wouldn't be such a big deal except charlie's dad is coming to new york in one week to take it all away to west virginia... we're not even gonna have our bed here... we've got to be out of this apartment by the first and then it's gonna be all about sofa hopping our way all over the city for a couple of weeks... october 19th is the official last day here when work will be finished and we'll be free to begin our journey into the woods... i'm scared as heck but i'm also sooooo excited... this website, by the way, is literally running on fumes... it's been "balance due" for a couple of weeks now but those nice people at my server are, for some reason, not kicking me off highway... hmmmmm... i think they're up to something... anyway, i'm gonna hop in the shower and crawl into bed for a while... i'm tired... p.s. fashion week is so stupid...

FRIDAY | 09.12.03 | 8:03pm | mid-month crises and so i'm moving to west virginia in a month... wow... that sounds so weird... i've spent the last couple of weeks working on a print project that's kinda kicking my ass... to all of you print designers out there laughing at me for getting my ass kicked by a 6-panel CD package and disk design/layout, well, all i have to say is "fuck the fuck off..." (i'm sorry to all of my family that reads this... i just have a really bad headache right now...) i'm a web designer, alright??? not a print designer... and there's a difference... BUT... i do have to admit that it's been a lot of fun and a huge learning experience... i'm just crossing my fingers that the thing turns out nicely... i broke a rib on monday... ugh... charlie and i were at central park taking pictures of each other rolling down a hill... he successfully snapped a picture when, well, when i snapped a rib... oy... knowing what i know about breaking ribs, i decided not to visit the doctor... i just don't have two grand to spend on visits, x-rays, scripts, etc... i'll ice it and wrap it on my own, thank you very much... wow, medical advice from yourself is the cheapest medical advice there is... i love it... and i'm in pain... on tuesday i was up late working on this project... my computer went bonkers with what i could only estimate was a virus... restart, restart, restart, restart, restart... it had been months since i'd backed-up much other than the stuff i'd currently been working on and, well, even a whole days worth of that had been lost... i lost all my saved emails (again) and i lost a bunch of photos... most painful loss??? probably the story i'd been writing for quite a while... i'm such a dunce... but thank the gods that most of my music was backed-up and all of my web work was, as well (of course)... september 11th has come and gone... it's gonna be difficult to try and start to remember that day as my mom and dad's anniversary again rather than everything else it has become... netfirms has sent me a bill for the next year of service... um... hehehe... i'm broke... revolution freedom may be on hiatus soon... i'm crossing my fingers (again) and holding one hand out to you with my puppy dog eyes... what is going on!?!?!?
